CapitaLand Hope Foundation (CHF), was established as the philanthropic arm of CapitaLand Group in 2005 to support community development initiatives where the Group operates. As a registered charity and grant maker in Singapore, CHF contributes towards building resilience in communities through supporting education, health and well-being initiatives targeting at children, youth and seniors. Going beyond donations, CHF also advocates volunteerism as an integral part of building a caring and inclusive community.
CHF (India) was established as a non-profit organisation in 2019 to further the Group’s commitment to support the communities in India, with a key focus on learning and developmental needs of underserved children across the country.
To date, CHF (India) has contributed over INR 100 million benefitting more than 5,300 children across four cities in India. CapitaLand’s staff also volunteer their time and expertise in three local schools supported by the CapitaLand Hope School Programme, through activities such as art competitions, environmental workshops and extra-curricular trainings together with tenant volunteers.
The CapitaLand Hope School Programme (CHSP) has been CHF’s flagship initiative since its establishment in 2005. Over the years, we have been able to drive positive changes to communities in China, Vietnam and in recent years, India – providing over 28,500 vulnerable children with a safe and conducive environment for education, and improving their access to learning opportunities.
