1.   INTRODUCTION

1.1.     Puffy Happiness at CapitaLand Malls – Euphoric Rewards (the “Promotion”) is exclusive to members of CapitaStar Rewards (referred to as “Eligible Shopper”). Shoppers can download the CapitaStar mobile application and sign up within the App as a member to qualify and participate in this Promotion. CapitaStar Rewards (Refer to CapitaStar Rewards Programme) is only awarded for the qualifying spend at participating CapitaLand Malls as shown in the table below.

1.2.    The Promotion is organised by CapitaLand Retail Management Pte Ltd (“Organiser”) and shall be governed by these terms and conditions (“T&Cs”).

1.3.      The promotion period (“Promotion Period”) is from 20 May to 30 June 2024, both dates inclusive.

1.4.     The Promotion mechanics of the “Puffy Happiness at CapitaLand Malls – Euphoric Rewards” are as follows:

1.4.1.   Eligible Shoppers must spend the minimum transactional value at the relevant participating CapitaLand mall as shown in the table below (“Qualifying Spend”) at the respective participating CapitaLand mall to receive the relevant amount of eCapitaVoucher (eCV) (“Reward”).

Cinematic Experience Registration eVoucher*

* Cinematic Experience Registration eVoucher entitles Eligible Shoppers to register their interest for the Cinematic Experience during the specified registration period.

1.4.2.   Eligible Shoppers can combine any number of receipts with transactional value of Singapore Dollars Twenty (S$20) or more from the same participating CapitaLand malls on the same day (“Eligible Transaction / Receipt”) to satisfy the Qualifying Spend, with at least one of the Eligible Transaction / Receipt having a minimum transactional value of Singapore Dollars Fifty (S$50) to satisfy the Qualifying Spend of Singapore Dollars One Hundred and Fifty (S$150). The Eligible Transaction / Receipt will be subject to Clause 3.2 of this Terms and Condition herein.

1.4.3.   Eligible Shoppers can combine any number of Eligible same-day Transaction / Receipt within the same participating CapitaLand mall, during each day of the Promotional Period, to satisfy the Qualifying Spend to qualify for the Reward. Only receipts snapped and uploaded to the CapitaStar app on the same day of purchase and approved will be accepted for the purposes of satisfying the Qualifying Spend. For purchases made via eCapitaVoucher, Eligible Shoppers are still required to snap the receipts and upload to the CapitaStar app on the same day of purchase. For purchases made via DBS payment mode – DBS / POSB Credit or Debit cards and DBS Paylah! or ShopBack Pay (DBS Paylah! account or ShopBack account must be linked to CapitaStar app), scanning of receipt(s) is not required. Receipts with transactional value of less than Singapore Dollars Twenty (S$20) shall not be accepted, for this Promotion, to be combined to satisfy the Qualifying Spend.

1.4.4.   Each Eligible Shopper may receive a maximum of one (1) eCV Reward per participating CapitaLand mall per day during the Promotion Period and one (1) Cinematic Experience Registration eVoucher throughout the redemption period from 20 May – 7 June 2024.

1.5.    The Reward will be available for redemption through the CapitaStar app from 10am on each day of the Promotion Period. Eligible Receipts snapped and submitted through the CapitaStar app before 10am will not qualify for the Promotion.

1.6.    The Reward will be automatically credited directly into the CapitaStar App of the Qualifying Eligible Member upon qualification of all Eligible Receipt(s) snapped and approved.

1.7.    The eCV Reward awarded in this Promotion will expire in three (3) months from the date of issuance. The Cinematic Experience Registration eVoucher will expire on 11 June 2024. Eligible Shoppers can tap on the “My Vouchers” tab from the CapitaStar App main screen to view the Reward and the expiry date. The Organiser shall not be obliged to entertain any request to extend the validity of the Reward.

1.8.    The Cinematic Experience Registration eVoucher awarded in this Promotion entitles Eligible Shoppers to register their interest for the Cinematic Experience (valid for 2 persons) on the specified date. Registration shall only be open during the specified period and time stated in the Cinematic Experience Registration eVoucher. Eligible Shoppers are to complete and submit their registration via the official registration page linked to the Cinematic Experience Registration eVoucher.

1.9.    Registration of interest for the Cinematic Experience is on a first-come, first-served basis and limited to 200 pairs of Entry Pass only.

Please note that a successful submission of the registration does not guarantee allotment of the entry passes to attend the Cinematic Experience Event. Upon successful verification by the Organiser, only the successful Eligible Shoppers who have registered their interest will be notified by email. Successful Eligible Shoppers shall automatically receive one (1) valid Cinematic Experience Entry Pass eVoucher (for two persons) directly into the CapitaStar App of the Eligible Shopper.

1.10. The seats for the Cinematic Experience movie screening are pre-allocated and selection of seats is not permitted. The Organiser’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entertained.

1.11. The movie is subjected to Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) film classification under the Films Act. All eligible Cinematic Experience attendees are solely responsible for ensuring that they adhere to the Classification Rating of the specified movie. The Organiser and its partner(s) (if any) shall not be held liable for any damages or consequences resulting from the attendees’ decision to view content that is not appropriate according to the Classification Rating.

1.12. The Reward in this Promotion is provided on a first-come, first-served basis and redemption of the respective Reward is subject to availability at the respective Participating CapitaLand mall, while stocks last.

 

2.   ELIGIBILITY

2.1.  Without limiting the generality of the above, the following persons shall not be eligible for the Promotion:

a.   employees of any retail tenants in the Participating CapitaLand malls; and

b.   persons who the Organiser may decide to exclude at its discretion without notice and without providing any reason, at any time.

2.2.  The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any member who is found at any time (whether before or after the receipt of any Reward) to be in breach of the relevant eligibility or qualifying criteria. Any Reward awarded to any member may be forfeited, and if collected, shall be returned to the Organiser promptly and may be dealt with the Organiser’s sole discretion.

 

3.   QUALIFYING SPEND

3.1.    Only the total final amount paid as indicated on the tax invoice(s) / receipt(s) issued by the participating store(s) will be accepted for this Promotion. NETS or credit / debit card transaction slips are not acceptable in place of original copies of shopping receipts.

3.2.    Notwithstanding Clause 1.4 of this Terms and Conditions hereinabove, receipt(s) from car grooming services, SingPost transactions, purchase of parking coupons, purchase or top up of Cashcard / stored value cards, purchase or top up of stores’ membership card, gift cards and vouchers (i.e. eCapitaVoucher or participating stores’ vouchers), SISTIC transactions, AXS / SAM machines transactions and bill payments, purchase of lottery tickets, purchase of movie tickets and food and beverages at cinema, any transactions at pawn shops and money changer, bank and other financial institutions’ transactions, transactions from pushcarts and stalls at temporary roadshows at the participating malls, and transactions from supermarkets (Cold Storage, FairPrice, FairPrice Finest, and GIANT) are not eligible for use as a receipt in this Promotion. For the avoidance of doubt, transactions at Cold Storage and Thai Supermarket at Aperia, FairPrice Finest at CQ @ Clarke Quay, FairPrice Xtra at Kallang Wave Mall, FairPrice at SingPost Centre and Scarlett Supermarket at Lot One, Plaza Singapura & Westgate shall be recognized for the purposes of this Promotion. For purchases of goods and services made by instalments, only the instalment receipt showing the value of the purchase(s) made on the same day of the redemption, will be eligible for use as a receipt in this Promotion for CapitaStar Rewards programme. Receipt(s) from deposit placements, order placements, and payments using tenant / credit card loyalty points will not be accepted for the purposes of this Promotion.

3.3.    The Organiser may reject any tax invoice, receipts and / or charge slip as invalid at its sole and absolute discretion, and such determination shall be final and conclusive.

3.4.    The Organiser reserves the right to verify all purchases made by the Eligible Shopper and the tax invoice(s)/ receipt(s) before processing the redemption of the Rewarding the Promotion.

3.5.    Receipts shall be considered expended for the purposes of this Promotion and other promotions in CapitaLand malls when it is used to redeem the Reward. Receipts cannot be used for redemption of multiple Rewards. Receipts cannot be used for redemption of more than one promotion at any CapitaLand mall.

 

4.     GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

4.1.    The eCV Reward cannot be exchanged for different denominations and is subject to the relevant terms and conditions governing the use of the eCapitaVoucher. Please refer to eCapitaVoucher terms and conditions.

4.2.    By participating in this Promotion, the Member (CapitaStar members):

4.2.1.   acknowledges and consents to the processing, collection, use and disclosure of his / her Personal Data by the Organiser, its affiliates, subsidiaries and related corporations including its holding company, CapitaLand Investment Limited (collectively, “CapitaLand Group”), and authorised agents, business partners and service providers in compliance with applicable data protection laws, regulations and guidelines to facilitate the administration of the Promotion including compliance with the Promotion Terms and Condition and that he / she has read and agreed with the CapitaLand Group’s and Data Protection Policy available at https://www.capitaland.com/international/en/legal-notices/privacy-policy.html  and  may be amended, replaced, substituted from time to time.

4.2.2.   agrees that the Organiser, its affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, business partners and respective officers and employees shall not be liable for any actions, claims, demands, injuries, proceedings, liability, losses, damages, costs and expenses of any nature sustained by the member directly or indirectly by reason of or in connection with this Promotion. The member shall indemnify and keep the Organiser and its officers, servants, agents and employees ("the Indemnified Parties") fully indemnified against any and all loss, damage, demand, liability, claims, expenses and costs (including legal costs on a full indemnity basis) suffered and / or incurred by any of the Indemnified Parties as a result of the breach of any of the terms and conditions herein by the member. Members are deemed to have read, understood and accepted all the T&Cs set out herein, as well as any other requirements set out in any related promotional material, and all amendments, additions, replacements and modifications there to as may be made from time to time.

4.3.    Acceptance of any Reward shall constitute consent on the part of the Eligible Shopper to allow the use of his / her name, image, voice and / or likeness by the Organiser for editorial, advertising, promotional, marketing and / or other purposes without further compensation except where prohibited by law.

4.4.    All Rewards are non-transferable, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable for cash, credit, goods or benefits-in-kind, unless otherwise stated.

4.5.    The Reward shall be awarded on the presumption that the submitted tax invoice(s), receipt(s) and / or charge slip(s) are original copies and valid. The Organiser may reject any tax invoice, receipt and / or charge slip as invalid at its sole and absolute discretion, and such determination shall be final and conclusive. In the event any tax invoice, receipt and / or charge slip is rejected by the Organiser as invalid, the Organiser shall reserve the right to void the Reward awarded to the Eligible Shopper and recover the monetary value of the Reward.

4.6.    The Organiser and its partner(s) (if any) in this Promotion reserve the right to change, vary, replace, substitute, amend, withdraw or cancel this Promotion and / or any of the terms and conditions herein at their sole and absolute discretion and without prior notice or any liability to any party.

4.7.    The Organiser does not make any warranty or representation in relation to any product or services offered in this Promotion or redeemed by vouchers or gift certificates and shall not accept any liability in respect of the same.

4.8.    By participating in this Promotion, the Eligible Shopper represents that he / she has read and agreed with this Promotion Terms and Conditions.

4.9.    This Promotion Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and all participants in this Promotion irrevocably submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore Courts to resolve all disputes.

4.10. The Organiser’s decision on all matters relating to the Promotion shall be final, conclusive and binding. No correspondence will be entertained.

4.11. The Walt Disney Company and its parent, affiliates, and subsidiaries are not responsible for the promotion, administration or execution of this Promotion.

  • 2. How do I participate in the promotion?

    All shoppers must download the CapitaStar app, sign up as a CapitaStar member and snap their same-day, same-mall receipts on the same day of purchase via the CapitaStar app from 10am during the promotion period to receive the rewards. Only approved receipts will qualify for the promotion, available on a while-stocks-last basis.

    For purchases made with the following payment methods, scanning of receipt(s) is not required:

    • via DBS payment mode – DBS/POSB Credit or Debit cards and DBS Paylah! (DBS Paylah! account must be linked to CapitaStar app).
    • ShopBack Pay (ShopBack account must be linked to CapitaStar app).
  • 3. How do I link my CapitaStar account to DBS PayLah! or ShopBack?

  • 4. Do I still need to snap my receipts and upload to CapitaStar app if I have linked my CapitaStar account to DBS Paylah! or ShopBack?

    No, members who have linked their CapitaStar account to DBS PayLah! and transacted via DBS payment modes (DBS/POSB Credit or Debit cards and DBS Paylah!) OR have linked their CapitaStar account to ShopBack and transacted via ShopBack Pay do not have to snap their receipts on the CapitaStar app.

    For members who still proceed to snap their receipts and upload to the CapitaStar app, the receipts will be rejected.

  • 5. Is there a cap to the number of receipts a member can submit to qualify for the rewards?

    No, there is no cap to the number of receipts to accumulate.

    However, spending per receipt must be a minimum of $20 (as per CapitaStar program criteria) and one of the receipts must be at least $50*. Receipts with transactional value that are less than $20 per transaction will not be eligible for accumulation to meet the Qualifying Spend.

    *Exception: Criteria for one of the receipts to be at least $50 does not apply to Aperia and SengKang Grand Mall.

  • 7. If I spend in two malls within the same day and meet the Qualifying Spend at each of the respective malls, will I receive rewards from both malls?

    Yes, you will be eligible to redeem the eCapitaVoucher Reward from these two malls if you meet the Qualifying Spend per mall and if there are available stocks. 

    However, you will only receive ONE Cinematic Experience Registration eVoucher, regardless of how many eCapitaVoucher you received during the promotion period.

  • 8. If I combine receipts from two different malls to meet the Qualifying Spend, will I receive the reward?

    No, combination of receipts from different malls is not allowed

  • 9. If I use eCapitaVoucher to make purchase in participating malls, do I still qualify for the promotion?

    Yes, usage of eCapitaVoucher to make any purchase in participating stores can qualify for the promotion. The gross spends including eCapitaVoucher, excluding discounts will be counted towards the minimum spend amount. Members will still need to snap their receipts on CapitaStar app for purchases made with eCapitaVoucher to qualify for the promotion (subject to stocks availability).

  • 10. Do receipts from supermarkets qualify for this promotion?

    Receipts from supermarkets (Cold Storage, FairPrice, FairPrice Finest, and GIANT) do not qualify for this promotion. 

    Exception: Receipts from Cold Storage and Thai Supermarket at Aperia, FairPrice Finest at CQ @ Clarke Quay, FairPrice Xtra at Kallang Wave Mall, FairPrice at SingPost Centre and Scarlett Supermarket at Lot One, Plaza Singapura & Westgate shall be recognized for the purposes of this Promotion.

  • 11. Are there any other exclusions besides receipts from selected supermarkets?

  • 12. What do I do if my receipt is rejected?

    If your receipt is rejected due to incomplete or unclear information,  please re-submit your receipt with a clear mage showing the following information:

    ·     Transaction Date & Time

    ·     Receipt Number

    ·     Transaction Amount

  • 13. What is the Cinematic Experience Registration eVoucher used for?

    This Registration eVoucher entitles members to register their interest for the Cinematic Experience. Members can register their interest during the specified period and time stated in the eVoucher, through the registration page linked to the eVoucher. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.

    Do note that a successful submission of the registration does not guarantee allotment of the entry passes to attend the Cinematic Experience Event.

  • 14. What is the period of registration for the interest to the Cinematic Experiences?

    The period of registration for the interest to the Cinematic Experience is from 8 June 2024, 10am to 11 June 2024, 12pm which is stated in the Registration eVoucher. You can view the eVoucher available under My Vouchers Tab in your CapitaStar app.

  • 15. Can I register my interest for the Cinematic Experience through other means?

    No. You can only register your interest for the Cinematic Experience through the official registration page linked to the Cinematic Experience Registration eVoucher, available under My Vouchers Tab in your CapitaStar app. Registration through any other means will not be accepted.

  • 16. How many registrations of interest can I submit?

    Each member who has received a valid Cinematic Experience Registration eVoucher can only submit one (1) registration entry using the serial number indicated in the eVoucher. Multiple submissions using the same eVoucher serial number will be disregarded.

  • 17. How do I know if I have successfully secured an Entry Pass to the Cinematic Experience?

    Only members who are successfully allocated an Entry Pass eVoucher will be notified by email. The Cinematic Experience Entry Pass eVoucher will be available under My Vouchers Tab in the CapitaStar App

  • 18. Why do I receive only the eCapitaVoucher but not the Cinematic Experience Registration eVoucher even though I have met the Qualifying Spend?

    The eCapitaVoucher Reward is limited to one (1) redemption per participating CapitaLand mall per day of the Promotion Period. However, the Cinematic Experience Registration eVoucher is limited to one (1) redemption throughout the redemption period from 20 May to 7 June 2024. 

  • 19. How long is the validity of the eCapitaVoucher awarded under this promotion?

    eCapitaVoucher awarded under this promotion will expire in three (3) months from date of issuance. Do remember to spend your eCapitaVoucher as extension of validity period will not be entertained.

  • 20. How soon will the eCapitaVoucher be credited?

    The eCapitaVoucher will be credited within 10 minutes upon receipt(s) approval. However, do note that receipt approval may take up to 24 hours.

  • 21. Am I guaranteed the eCapitaVoucher once I snap my receipt(s) that meet the Qualifying Spend?

    The eCapitaVoucher reward is limited and issued on a first-come, first-served and while stocks last basis. 

  • 22. I have eCapitaVoucher in my CapitaStar App that has a later expiry. Do I have to utilize all that I have earned from this promotion, which has a shorter expiry date?

    Usage of eCapitaVoucher at participating CapitaLand malls' stores will be based on the earliest expiry date. You will receive a notification for the eCapitaVoucher awarded for each promotion which will include the date of award and validity period. 

  • 23. Where do I check availability of the Reward for this promotion?

    Please note that stocks for the Reward will only be available at 10am daily, Monday to Friday, excluding Public Holidays.
