CapitaLand is one of the first companies in Singapore to voluntarily publish its Sustainability Reports according to the Global Reporting Initiatives (GRI) Guidelines. It is committed to cover its Group-wide property portfolio in more than 110 cities in over 20 countries. Its latest report is based on the GRI Global 4 Sustainability Reporting Guidelines, in accordance with the Core level requirements outlined in the G4’s reporting standards, and has achieved a “Materiality Matters” Check by GRI. Top Management Commitment and Staff Involvement
CapitaLand’s sustainability management structure is led by its Sustainability Council which comprises members of CapitaLand’s top management. It is supported by a Sustainability Steering Committee which oversees two work teams to ensure the Group’s continued progress and improvement in the areas of environment, social and governance. The Sustainability Steering Committee and work teams comprises representatives from all business units.
